After Bard of Blood, Betaal is the second collaboration of the streamer with Bollywood Baadshah, Shah Rukh Khan. It belongs to an entirely new genre, and the makers promise to give a never seen before experience to the viewers. A glimpse from the series is out. It does look raw and gritty in an appealing way.
Patrick Graham, the man behind Ghoul, a Netflix original series starring Radhika Apte, is the showrunner for Betaal. Nikhil Mahajan and Suhani Kanwar, are the other directors helming the show. Paul Graham and Suhani Kanwar has in the past collaborated on Netflix’s Leila, too.
Betaal features an exciting cast which includes the likes of Vineet Kumar, Aahana Kamra, Suchitra Pillai, Jitendra Joshi, Syna Anand, Siddharth Menon and others.
Netflix has also revealed the steaming date for Betaal. It will be from May 24th. It will be their fifth original series to stream in the year, so far.
