Netflix released its much-awaited erotic drama ‘365 Days: This Day‘ last week. The film is the sequel to Netflix’s 2020 blockbuster ‘365 Days’, which had become a global hit for Netflix. 365 Days is one of the most-watched non-English films on the platform. And 365 Days: This Day is on track to achieving that status. But the most interesting aspect of the two movies is that both have set a record on TV and films rating website, Rotten Tomatoes.
365 Days: This Day has earned a rare 0% rating from critics reviews on Rotten Tomatoes. Very few other films in the history of films have earned the abysmal rating. Even its predecessor 365 Days had earned the exact same rating on Rotten Tomatoes – 0%.
Critics have been vociferous about the questionable pedigree of 365 Days. The bordering-on-porn erotic sequences, poor plot, bad acting and its glorification of The Stockholm Syndrome have all contributed to the harsh ratings from the critics.
365 Days: This Day follows in the exact same steps of 365 Days. In fact, it is far far worse than 365 Days, a difficult milestone to achieve given that 365 Days itself was quite terrible.
Both 365 Days and 365 Days: This Day are streaming on Netflix. But let us warn you – watch them at your own risk, lest your brain cells end up fried!
