2020 has been a tough year for many people as the pandemic destroyed lives throughout the world as many people lost their jobs and even more their loved ones. Netflix’s Death to 2020 tries to take a comedic look at what might have been the toughest year in recent times for the human race.
Very few people could have predicted the way things would turn out this year but a little laughter always goes a long way in lighting up the mood and help relieve the stress and god knows how much stress this year has brought upon us.
Netflix’s Death to 2020 is brought to us by the creators of Blackmirror so this comedy original event is sure to bring us something unique and different. It also has a star cast of Samuel L Jackson, Lisa Kudrow Kumail Nanjiani, Leslie Jones, and others to light up our mood after a long time and most would even say that it was needed at this point of the year.
This is a story that couldn’t have been told until now and while we may have enough of the thrillers or dramas that were based on what happened in 2020 (some even before it all started) a comedy like this one can help settle a few nerves after what has been a trying time for all.
Death to 2020 will stream on Netflix on 27th December and can hopefully help us end this year with a smile because in 2020 barely surviving was one of the greatest gifts.
