The cricket fever is currently running high in the country with the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL T20) and while Disney+ Hotstar has the digital streaming rights there is one other streaming giant that’s trying to make the most out of it. We are talking about Netflix and its latest marketing commercial featuring the charming Ranbir Kapoor.
In the latest advertisement, the ‘Rockstar’ actor is seen doing an ad shoot for Netflix wherein he lists out the different genres and categories of content available on the platform but apparently nobody in the crew is interested as they are all busy watching live cricket. (Catch the video at the end)
Prior to this, Netflix has been doing something similar on its social media, trying to capture the interest of every cricket lover in India.

Despite being a global brand, Netflix is really good at getting hold of the vibe going on in a particular region. Instead of trying to attract the audience with the showcase of all that it has, it has used a smart approach to go with the flow and has hence been able to turn more heads towards it. With big stars like Ranbir Kapoor onboard it makes it more so interesting.
