Netflix India has unveiled the trailer for the second season of it’s original crime action drama ‘Rana Naidu’ and this time the stakes are higher than before. Created by Karan Anshuman (‘Mirzapur’), ‘Rana Naidu’ is the official Indian adaptation of American crime drama series ‘Ray Donavan’ and its season 2 will premiere only on Netflix on 13th June, 2025.
The trailer begins with Rana promising Naina that he is going to quit but she doesn’t believe him much and feels he is addicted to his way of life. The rest of the trailer shows how Rana has a lot to deal with including his father but more importantly Rauf, an enemy who wouldn’t stop until he settles the scores.
Meanwhile, Rana is desperate and on the brink of pulling off one final, high-stakes fix in order to safeguard his family’s future. But with time running out and Rauf looming as the danger, will this last fix make it or break it for Rana.
Season one gave a glimpse of Rana’s dangerous, yet stylish world where he is the ultimates fixer for the rich and reckless. For him erasing crimes, rewriting narratives or burying the darkest of secrets is super easy. But problems began when his estranged father Naga Naidu returned. The first season showed how the Naidus are a dysfunctional family alongside being volatile, scarred and too proud to face their own demons. Season 2 takes it even further.
