Indians are very price-sensitive. If they are not getting full value for money then they might consider canceling the whole deal. One more thing is very true about Indians. They spend a lot of money on education in order to seek a better job and secure their future.
Naturally, higher education demands us to move out of the comfort zone we call home and live in hostels, flats etc away from our hometown.
So why are we telling you all this? Students or anyone living outside their house is having a problem with Netflix India these days. The only pre-requisite is, that they should have a Netflix India subscription of course.
Why so?
Netflix’s counter against password crackdown. So, if people using the same account on different devices are not using the same wifi for a certain period of time then they are getting weird emails from Netflix.
This is badly pissing off those students and family members who are actually living outside their homes and somehow they are supposed to have two Netflix subscriptions within the same family.
It is indeed ridiculous.
Well, one can’t really do anything about it because the big daddies of Netflix has already thought all these things are. Needless to say, things will continue in this manner only.

I am studying in Australia and I have an account with my parents in India (it's a family account fully paid members) I can't connect to my home internet periodically for obvious reasons. What should I do?— Arpan George Mathew (@Bamgm14) May 1, 2024

#SocialMedia is filled with complaints on ridiculous policy of @Netflix_CA @Netflixhelps @netflix @NetflixIndia
Account of family member of same House is Blocked right at the time of travel
It's understandable that #Netflix was trying to curb the issue of multiple sharing… https://t.co/SzDpoVEXbR pic.twitter.com/0oOr9wXUt0
