The trailer begins with grandson, played by Arjun Kapoor, who is seen explaining structural relocation, wherein he wants to relocate a whole house form one place to another. Getting to the main part of the story the trailer shows how an ailing grandmother known as Sardar (Neena Gupta) who lives in Amritsar (India) wishes to go to Lahore (Pakistan) to visit her old house to which she is very emotionally attached.
She expresses the same to her grandson and promises to make him the CEO of Champion Cycles if he fulfills her wish. The grandson tries to get her visa approved but all his efforts go in vain. So he finally decides that if Sardar can’t go to her house, he will bring the house to her.
The trailer further shows grandson’s struggle and humour filled journey of relocating an ancestral home by crossing a border that often remains under high tension. It also gives glimpses of romance not only between grandson and his love interest (Rakul Preet Singh) but also that between Sardar and his husband in flashback.
