Netflix’s hit Indian show ‘Scoop’ has brought in more accolades for the streaming giant. This morning, the hosts of Busan International Film Festival’s eminent Asia Content Awards announced the nominations for the various categories in the awards. Netflix and Hansal Mehta’s ‘Scoop’ made the nominations for not one but two different categories at the awards.
Scoop is in the running for the award for Best Asian TV Series. Karishma Tanna, lead actress of Scoop, has been nominated for the prestigious Best Actress Award at the Asia Content Awards.
The Asia Contents Awards & Global OTT Awards are a part of the Busan International Film Festival, co-presented by the Korea Radio Promotion Association. The Awards recognise excellence in content made for TV, OTT, and digital, across Asia.
Winners will be announced on 8th October, at the Asia Content Awards & Global OTT Awards 2023, to be held at Busan Cinema Center. The Awards will be announced amidst the ongoing Busan International Film Festival, slated to take place from 4th October to 13th October.
Disney Plus’ blockbuster hit show ‘Moving’ leads the nominations, with a total of six nominations in its kitty.
