Enid is dead! Oops, that was so not good from us! What we meant to say is that the official new trailer for Netflix’s Wednesday Season 2 shows the dangerously cynical, sarcastic, stubborn, but loyal protagonist, Wednesday Addams (Jenna Ortega), doing whatever it takes and crossing all limits to save her best friend, Enid Sinclair (Emma Myers).
Upon her return to Nevermore, Wednesday is greeted by the new principal, Barry Dort (played by Steve Buscemi). She quickly realises that her heroic actions in Season 1 have earned her an unwanted reputation. As she struggles with this “hero worship,” her visions intensify, culminating in a terrifying premonition of Enid’s death.
This alarming vision prompts Wednesday to seek help from her mother, Morticia (Catherine Zeta-Jones), and Grandmama Hester Frump (Joanna Lumley). Morticia is particularly distressed, vowing not to let a mysterious family history repeat itself.
Alongside the above-mentioned talents, Wednesday Season 2 is set to feature Isaac Ordonez (Pugsley Addams), Victor Dorobantu (Thing), Luis Guzmán (Gomez Addams), Joonas Suotamo (Lurch), Fred Armisen (Uncle Fester), Hunter Doohan (Tyler Galpin), and more.
Moreover, the second season has been split into two parts, with Part I scheduled to premiere on August 6 and Part II on September 3.
