Netflix‘s ‘World’s Most Wanted’ is going to be the most shocking, alarming and, daunting show ever. No, it’s not a horror web series, it’s just real and too heavy to handle!
It showcases five vicious and dangerous criminals who have managed to elude the police. Premiering on 5th August with five episodes, each episode will focus on the story of one culprit. Netflix official description – “Heinous criminals have avoided capture despite massive rewards and global investigations. This docuseries profiles some of the world’s most wanted.”
Let’s read a little about each one of them-
Ismael “El Mayo” Zambada García: This man over 70 years old leads a drug cartel in Mexico. He probably took over this drug cartel when El Chapo was arrested last year and sentenced to life imprisonment. He is known to be armed and dangerous and has a place in ‘most wanted’ list of the US.
Samantha Lewthwaite: She is known as the ‘White Widow’ and her present whereabouts are not known. It is being said that she could have been the mastermind behind a list of militant attacks all around the world, the most recent Kenya attack included. Her husband carried out London 2005 bombing which killed 55 people.
Matteo Messina Denaro: Currently 58 years old, his whereabouts too are unknown. He is speculated to lead the Sicilian Mafia and is linked to multiple murders. He has been on the run for nearly twenty years now and is probably the only major Sicilian Mafia player yet to be arrested.
Semion Mogilevich: He plays a significant role in arms dealing and natural gas trade globally and his conjectured to lead the Russian mob. The FBI has also accused him of multimillion-dollar fraud.
Félicien Kabuga: This man was caught in France this year after being chased for 25 years. He reportedly financed Rwanda masaccre which killed eight lakh people.
The visual of these crime stories will be a spine chilling experience. Netflix will bring these international criminals’ stories to us on 5th August. The most important question is – Will they ever be caught?
