Late last month Jeff Goldblum starrer ‘Kaos’ made its debut on Netflix and people have been loving it. A mythological dark comedy fantasy drama series created by Charlie Covell (‘The End of the F***ing World’), ‘Kaos’ was on the number 3 spot this week on the global top 10 English TV list with 5.9 million views. Moreover, the show is currently in top 10 in TV in 80 countries on Netflix.
‘Kaos’ is an interesting contemporary twist on the Greek mythology with Goldblum’s Zeus, ruthless and stylish king of the gods, at the center of it all. He is harsh and an all powerful being who is not ready to let go of his status and for him humans don’t matter.
It’s Gods versus humans in ‘Kaos’ where Zeus is at the top of the food chain since long but one day he discovers a wrinkle on his forehead that make him paranoid and leads this supreme deity on a dangerous and unstable path. He now thinks that his end is near and starts seeing omens of doom in all places.
Well, his worries aren’t misplaced, turns out his old friend who is now a prisoner Prometheus (Stephen Dillane) is orchestrating a plot to bring him down. And this involves three different humans, Riddy (Aurora Perrineau), Ari (Leila Farzad), and Caneus (Misia Butler), who are totally unaware of it. They don’t know how significant they are going to be cosmically or that they are going to be so important in saving the world.
There’s a lot more that’s happening in ‘Kaos’ and it’s all pretty entertaining and gripping. The show is receiving great reviews from people online who went in with almost no expectations and came out astonished.
The eight episode season one of ‘Kaos’ left people wanting for more, and further led to demands of a second season ASAP. While Netflix is yet to renew the show for season 2, the signs are positive that it is coming.
In an interview with a leading international publication creator Charlie Covell talked about the future of the show and he said that Netflix has been very supportive and that his dream was three seasons. He has many ideas and thinks that anything is possible.
If you are looking for something new, fun and distinct, try ‘Kaos’ on Netflix this weekend. And before you jump on it, here’s what people are saying about the unique show:

Fantastic modernization of Greek mythology. Netflix give me another season with haste and beam it into my brain.
Second…..there’d better be some INTENSE JUSTICE….for a certain deed against a very undeserving innocent. Or I will riot. pic.twitter.com/8Y4Qs1bITN
