If you loved Millie Bobby Brown in Netflix’s ‘Enola Holmes’ and would love to watch more of the ‘Stranger Things’ fame, then you are up for a treat as the young actress has teamed up once again with Netflix. Brown will star in Netflix’s latest fantasy film ‘Damsel’ and also executive produce it via her PCMA Productions.
‘Damsel’ will be directed by Academy Award nominee Juan Carlos Fresnadillo, a well recognised Spanish filmmaker known for his works like ‘Intact’, ’28 Weeks Later’, ‘Esposados’ (Linked), ‘Intruders’ and more. Dan Mazeau (Wrath Of The Titans, Cowboy Ninja Viking) will write the screenplay as well as executive produce the Netflix film.
As per media reports, Brown will be seen in the role of Princess Elodie in Netflix’s ‘Damsel’, who remains under the misconstrued belief of getting married to Prince Henry, until she finds out that she was actually going to be sacrificed to a dragon!
‘Damsel’ will be produced by Joe Roth and Jeff Kirschenbaum. Zack Roth and Chris Castaldi will serve as executive producers for the Netflix film alongside Brown and Mazeau.
This isn’t the first time for Brown to work on a fantasy or sci-fi project. She has already been part of works like ‘Once Upon a Time in Wonderland’, ‘Stranger Things’ and ‘Godzilla: King of the Monsters’. Brown’s upcoming ventures include ‘Godzilla vs. Kong’, ‘The Girls I’ve Been’ adaptation and ‘The Thing About Jellyfish’.
No production or release dates for ‘Damsel’ have been revealed by Netflix as of yet.
