Jonathan Majors didn’t end his MCU journey on a good note as the brilliant Kang was conquered, defeated, and banished by the MCU, leaving fans expecting a fresh start. Many people anticipated a new direction or something different from Kang.
Even the director and the writer from the project have been shifted to a new lineup as the cloud of uncertainty shadowed the entire Kang storyline. But, as of now, there might be some light in this.
Though this is not official news, speculations suggest that Colman Domingo is close to playing the role of Kang in future installments.
Colman Domingo is a known face in the entertainment world, especially being a part of some of the most iconic series such as The Walking Dead and Fear the Walking Dead. Domingo even received an Emmy for his part in Euphoria, HBO’s hit drama.
Now, Kang isn’t really doing justice to the big and small screens and is setting up a contrast with its comic persona. Even in the comics, Kang killed Thanos with ease, but Marvel is far from portraying it as a big threat.
If Marvel continues their Kang saga, they need to pace up their game. Not killing off Ant-Man at the hands of Kang seemed like a really bad decision, considering the broader picture. But again, if they focus on Kang, they can have one of the baddest and strongest villains ever on the screens.
