New OTT Titles to Watch On 25th March Weekend: Valimai, Dune & More

It’s an exciting weekend for OTT viewers in India as some Indian and foreign films and shows have already been or will be released on various OTT platforms. For this article, we have compiled a list of the top streaming titles (in no particular order) that are/will be out on OTT and which you can check out this weekend on the below-mentioned OTT platforms. We have excluded ‘Bheemla Nayak’ from this list as it has already started streaming from 24th March.

Valimai (Streaming on Zee5 from 25th March)

Written and directed by H Vinoth, the film features eminent actor Ajith Kumar in the lead role alongside Huma Qureshi and Kartikeya in important roles. Ajith Kumar essays the role of a police officer named Arjun Kumar and the film’s story revolves around how the protagonist makes it his mission to bring to justice an illegal gang of bikers responsible for violent criminal activities.

Dune (Streaming on Amazon Prime Video, BookMyShow, iTunes, Google Play, YouTube, Hungama from 25th March)

The sci-fi film has been helmed by Denis Villeneuve (Arrival, Blade Runner 2049). Set in a distant future, the movie follows the young protagonist (played by Timothée Chalamet) and his journey to the dangerous desert planet called Arrakis aka Dune, which is known to possess the most precious substance called melange.

Sabrina (Streaming on Hoichoi from 25th March)

Hemed by Ashfaque Nipun, the eight-part Bangladeshi drama thriller series revolves around two women who share the same name – Sabrina. One is a burned victim (Nazia Hoque Orsha) and the other woman is a doctor (Mehazabein Chowdhury) who fights to save the former and get her the justice she deserves.

Bridgerton Season 2 (Streaming on Netflix from 25th March)

Based on Julia Quinn’s novels and set amidst the backdrop of Regency-era London, the show follows the lives of eight siblings who belong to the rich and influential Bridgerton family and their quest to find love in the high society of London.

Archana 31 Not Out (Streaming on Manorama Max from 26th March)

It’s a Malayalam comedy-drama film that revolves around an unmarried 28-year-old titular female protagonist – a schoolteacher named Archana (Aishwarya Lekshmi). After a series of 30 unsuccessful arranged marriage proposals to find the right groom, a man named Prasad becomes the 31st prospective groom. Things look good for Archana, but an unanticipated incident occurs just before the wedding.

Baba Baby O (Streaming on Hoichoi from 27th March)

Helmed by Aritra Mukherjee, it’s a Bengali romantic comedy-drama film with a unique and interesting premise. The story follows a 40 plus bachelor named Megh (played by Jisshu Sengupta), who becomes the father of two boys through surrogacy. Later, he meets a toy shop owner Brishti (Solanki Roy), and he falls for her. But while Megh is fond of kids, Brishti hates them.
