Music director and singer Anirudh have announced a new track for the upcoming Superstar Rajni film ‘Vettaiyan’, directed by T.J. Gnanavel of Jai Bhim fame. The track, titled ‘Hunter Vantaar’ or ‘The Hunter is Coming’, is set to be the title track for the movie. It is expected to have mass appeal and provide entertainment to all audiences and fans. The track might introduce the world of the titular character with him being the nucleus.
The lyrics will be written by Super Subu, who has had previous hits with the duo. The music director posted the news on the ‘X’ platform with the hashtag ‘manasilayo’ (Eng. Have you understood?), a popular dialogue from the Tamil movie ‘Jailer’ spoken by actor Vinayakan. The track may have similarities with the musician’s earlier compositions in movies like ‘Jawan’, ‘Jailer’, ‘Vikram’, ‘And Master’, which have character-driven narratives. This is the fourth time that the superstar and music director are collaborating after successful previous collaborations. The only challenge that matters now is the musician’s recent composition in the Tamil movie Indian 2 which had an average response from the audience side.
The movie, produced by S. Subaskaran Allirajah for Lyca Productions, also stars Amitabh Bachchan, Manju Warrier, and Fahadh Faasil in significant roles. The satellite rights of the movie are owned by Sun pictures Network and OTT rights by Amazon prime video respectively. The movie is set to release on the 10th of October.
