Makers of Shahid Kapoor’s upcoming film ’Jersey’ are all set to launch a new trailer for the film this coming Monday just a few days before it’s release in cinemas on 14th April, 2022.
The announcement for the same was made on social media with a poster of ‘Jersey’, “The Triumph of the Human Spirit!! #JerseyTrailer Out on Monday at 1 pm!

While a trailer for ‘Jersey’ came out back in November last year, this new trailer launch seems to be a way to bring the film in audience’s notice once again. This becomes necessary in the light of the fact that ‘Jersey’ is on for a massive clash with the highly awaited Yash starrer pan-India film ‘KGF: Chapter 2’. But will it help ‘Jeesey’ come out of the shadows of a film that huge a scale?
Starring Shahid Kapoor, Mrunal Thakur and Pankaj Kapoor, ‘Jersey’ is a heartwarming story of an ex-cricketer struggling to make ends meet, wants to fulfill his child’s wish of getting a Jersey but in the process comes face to face with his heroic past and is forced to decide if he will rise to the occasion and become a symbol of hope or continue to live a life as a loser?
Directed by Gautam Tinnanuri, ‘Jersey’ is presented by Allu Aravind and produced by Dil Raju, S Naga Vamsi and Aman Gill. Bunny Vas serves as the go-producer for the film. ‘Jersey’ will release in theatres on 14th April, 2022.
