Netflix is putting together a world-class team of doctors at Miami’s top emergency center for its first-ever original medical procedural show ‘Pulse’.
From the famed creator of ‘The Equalizer’ Zoe Robyn, the show will follow the staff of Miami’s busiest Level 1 trauma center as they navigate medical emergencies and their equally complicated personal lives.
Willa Fitzgerald, last seen in ‘The Fall of the House of Usher, and Colin Woodell from ‘The Continental: From the World of John Wick’, are all set to play the hotshot leads at the crux of the explosive and nuanced story. Actors Néstor Carbonell, Santiago Segura, Ash Santos, Jessica Rothe, and Arturo Del Puerto have also been added to the show’s growing cast.
From the new additions, Carbonell will be seen playing Dr. Ruben Soriano, a respected and intimidating senior surgeon whose commitment and passion have led him to prioritize his job above all else.
Segura will play Gabriel Moreno, a highly competent ER nurse who’s not always easy to impress. Santos will play Nia Washington, a confident and scrappy EMT hailing from a large, close-knit family. Rothe will play Cass Himmelstein, a charismatic and goal-oriented senior ER nurse. Del Puerto will play Luis Dominguez, a witty and beloved Charge Nurse who remains unflappable amidst the chaos of the ER.
All of these will be recurring roles! While no further details have been revealed yet, don’t forget to stay tuned to this space for when they are!
