The next filming schedule of filmmaker Prashanth Neel’s upcoming big-ticket directorial film ‘Salaar’ is to reportedly commence from today in Hyderabad. And as per the latest buzz, the immensely popular ‘Baahubali’ actor Prabhas will also join the aforesaid filming schedule. Moreover, in the current schedule, some explosive action sequences are expected to be shot and that ostensibly includes an important interval scene also.
The Hyderabad schedule will purportedly be shot for around 5 to 7 days. ‘Salaar’ is Prashanth Neel’s next directorial project after the immensely successful ‘K.G.F’ starring Yash and whose much-anticipated sequel is gearing up for an exclusive theatrical release next year. As if some reports are to be believed, the Prabhas and Shruti Haasan starrer ‘Salaar’ can be expected to be twice as big as Prashanth Neel’s previous venture ‘K.G.F’.
The action-thriller ‘Salaar’ is being concurrently shot in Kannada and Telugu languages and will also be dubbed in Hindi, Tamil, and Malayalam languages for a wider Pan-India appeal especially considering the star-power of Prabhas and widespread acclaim of Prashanth Neel’s cinematic works. The filming of ‘Salaar’ began in early 2021 in the coal mines near the city of Godavarikhani, Telangana, and is currently scheduled for a grand theatrical release on April 14, 2022.
Although the film’s plot details are being kept under the wraps, it was earlier clarified by the makers that contrary to some reports, ‘Salaar’ is not a remake of any other film but it’s an original work. It will be quite interesting to see how the maiden creative collaboration between Prashanth Neel and Prabhas turns out to be. Whatever is known about the film and its production values so far and considering the incredible curiosity quotient surrounding the film., it seems like ‘Salaar’ already has blockbuster stamped all over it.
