Nielsen’s latest overall top ten regular streaming titles list (for the week of 20th to 26th March 2023) is out now. And this time, the topmost streaming title (with respect to total viewing minutes) has been bagged by the globally popular action thriller series ‘The Night Agent’.
‘The Night Agent’ boasts of more than a massive 2.6 billion minutes of viewing for the same period. And once again, on the second place on Nielsen’s top ten list is another Netflix title – the fantasy drama series ‘Shadow and Bone’ (with 1.03 billion minutes).
Other titles on Nielsen’s top ten list include the animated sitcom ‘South Park’ (831 million minutes), Disney+ show ‘The Mandalorian’ (795 million minutes), the Netflix documentary miniseries ‘Waco: The American Apocalypse’ (738 million minutes), and the dating reality series ‘Love Is Blind’ (691 million minutes), amongst others.
On the latest Nielsen top ten streaming list, seven out of ten titles are streaming on the Netflix OTT platform. While the other titles are streaming on the HBO Max, Paramount+, and Disney+ streaming services.
Coming back to this week’s top title on Nielsen – ‘The Night Agent’, the show follows the story of a low-level but smart FBI agent Peter Sutherland (Gabriel Basso), who answers a call which reveals that there is a Russian mole at the White House. The series has achieved the distinction of becoming the sixth most viewed Netflix series of all time and that too within a month of its release. Unsurprisingly, ‘The Night Agent’ has already been renewed for a second season. And the show’s popularity has been aptly reflected in the latest Nielsen top ten streaming titles list as well.
