When the opening season of ‘Panchayat’ came out in the pandemic period in 2020 on Amazon Prime Video, Indian OTT viewers got a pleasant and entertaining surprise amidst the depressing chaos of the lockdown. Thereafter, ‘Panchayat Season-2’, which was released in 2022, replicated the massive success of its predecessor despite an offbeat climactic episode.
So, fans of Prime Video’s ‘Panchayat’ are naturally curious about the release date of ‘Panchayat Season-3’, whose filming wrapped up in November last year and the first look was shared by the streaming platform on 9th December.
Speaking of dates, the exact release date for ‘Panchayat Season-3’ is still shrouded in mystery. A few months back, it was being speculated that it will be out sometime in December 2023 end. But that didn’t happen.
Then, a few days back, it was revealed (accidentally or mistakenly, we don’t know) that ‘Panchayat S3’ will be released on 15th January. Fans were overjoyed after hearing about it. But the happiness was short-lived because the post was apparently taken down by Amazon Prime Video. Moreover, Season-3’s trailer is also not out yet, So, again, there is doubt among fans about S3’s release date.
So, the big question is: When will ‘Panchayat Season-3’ be released on Amazon Prime Video?
Some time back, one of the show’s actors Chandan Roy, who plays the role of the adorable assistant to Jitendra Kumar’s character of the Panchayat Secretary, said in a media interaction that ‘Panchayat Season-3’ is scheduled to be released in late January.
And since the first two seasons of ‘Panchayat’ premiered on Amazon Prime Video on Fridays (although S2 came out two days earlier than the actual release date), it may be assumed that the third season too will be released on a Friday. And the last Friday of this month is 26th January.
So, going by the trend and the above info, the most probable / expected release date of ‘Panchayat Season-3’ should be 26th January 2024. What better day to release a popular show on a public holiday (Republic Day). It’s our calculated guess and an official release date announcement from Amazon Prime Video is still awaited.
