Netflix has a huge variety of content in its library making it difficult for the users to choose. We are sure all of us spend a huge amount of time scrolling and trying to pick a series or movie we would like to watch. Many a times, we start watching a show or a movie to decide if it’s worth continuing only to midway realise that it’s wise to switch!
This switch will not change the fact that you watched the previous content for atleast a few minutes & it will stay in your ‘Continue Watching’ section. The idea of this feature is to help viewers resume from where they had left. The ‘Continue Watching’ title on the homepage is the first thing you see after coming to Netflix app. It keeps a track of all the content you are currently viewing. But what if you wish to remove that particular movie or show you are not interested in watching any further and also the trial 15 minutes you had viewed earlier?
This new ‘Remove from Row’ feature is the solution to your problem! You can delete all the titles from the section that you wish to discontinue. The goal is to give viewers more control over what appears on their homepage and personalise it according to their preferences. You can now save yourself from unwanted titles popping on your screen everytime you enter the Netflix app. Cool, isn’t it?
Currently, the feature is only available to Android users (for both mobile and tablet devices) and it will be available for IOS devices probably on 29th June.
