Prime Video has launched the trailer of Oh My Dog. This Tamil original is directed by Sarov Shanmugam. Interestingly the film stars actors of three generations and from the same family namely, Arun Vijay, Arnav Vijay, Vijayakumar.
Oh My Dog talks about a little boy who happens to have a pet dog called Simba. The dog is of an exotic breed and instantly becomes an attention stealer. But someone makes an offer to purchase the dog and even his parents are not too happy with the dog.
One day, the little boy loses the dog and his dad claims to have thrown him away. This indeed is a trauma for the innocent little boy who selflessly loves his dog.
This trailer reminds of the 2011 Bollywood film Chillar Party. Although the storytelling was extremely different that also talked about a boy who loses his dog. So a lot of kids protest and start a movement to save the dog.
This trailer however is short and does not give a bigger account of what’ll happen after the boy loses Simba.
Regardless Oh My Dog releases on Prime Video on 21st April and only then we’ll know the originality of the film. Stay tuned to Binged for all the updates.
