The spy thriller web series ‘Mukhbir – The Story of a Spy’ is geared up to start streaming on the Zee5 OTT platform this Friday, that is, from 11th November.
An adaptation of Maloy Dhar’s critically acclaimed novel ‘Mission to Kashmir: An Intelligent Agent in Pakistan’, ‘Mukhbir – The Story of a Spy’ web series follows the story of a proficient and resourceful Indian secret agent.
The show’s basic plot is ostensibly about how the protagonist spy enters Pakistan after the Sino-Indian war and how he provides important intelligence information. And the way the ‘mukhbir’ tries to avert a possible attack planned by the enemy nation, and turns the tide of war in India’s favour. ‘Mukhbir – The Story of a Spy’ features a talented cast including Prakash Raj, Adil Hussain, and Zain Khan Durrani in pivotal roles.
All these things about the upcoming Zee5 series ‘Mukhbir – The Story of a Spy’, you might already know. You may also be aware of the fact that the show is being directed by the immensely talented filmmaker Shivam Nair, whose directorial filmography includes films and series like ‘Special Ops 1.5: The Himmat Story’, ‘Special OPS’, ‘Naam Shabana’, and ‘Maharathi’, etc.
But the one thing, or a big X-Factor, which might have escaped your attention is that, alongside Shivam Nair, Zee5’s ‘Mukhbir – The Story of a Spy’ has also been directed by Jayprad Desai.
