A series so good, that it becomes epic. You really thought you couldn’t say this about any series after Game of Thrones. But, you are wrong if you think it like that.
A series that got over today itself falls into the exact same criteria. Regular readers at Binged must have an idea of the show we are talking about. If you are still unaware, we are singing praises of the FX show Shōgun. The series is based on a popular novel streams on Hulu, since all the Hulu shows stream on Disney+Hotstar in India, Shogūn is no exception.
With a total of 10 episodes, the series has just gotten over. Makers do not have any plans to stretch this any further, so naturally it is a limited series.
Shōgun got an insanely positive response from both critics and audience alike. Yes, we do realize that the views were not as good as they should have been but many people were just waiting for it to get over. A lot of people prefer binge watching shows in one go and they will become active from now on.
The show opened with 9 Million views which is the highest ever for Hulu. It has a great score of 9 on IMDb and 99% on Rotten Tomatoes. Just to let you know, Shōgun is one of the greatest and best web series you can possibly watch. Now that it has gotten over, you can start binge watching it on Disney+Hotstar.
