The live adaptations of popular anime have been like a curse for Netflix. Death Note and Cowboy Bebop are two Netflix originals the world will always suggest you to stay away from.
But, ONE PIECE has broken that curse. The series based on the legendary manga has received a very good response from the audience. We even reported on Monday that the series was trending on top in 84 countries which is the highest as of now.
Well, the numbers are out.
As you can see in the above table, ONE PIECE debuted with 18 million views which is quite decent.
But, Wednesday debuted with more than 341 million views. So you can imagine how high the benchmarks were and how low ONE PIECE stands against that.
But that doesn’t mean the views of ONE PIECE are bad at all. Compared to the usual series that keep on coming to Netflix, it is indeed very good.
ONE PIECE stars Iñaki Godoy, Emily Rudd, Mackenyu, Jacob Romero Gibson, and Taz Skylar as the pirates.
We can assume that there was a sort of skepticism in the anime fans regarding ONE PIECE but as the reception is positive and only positive, we hope more and more people will show interest in the series.
