For those who are waiting eagerly for details about The Holdovers OTT release date, we’ve got news for you. The Holdovers will begin streaming soon on VOD, but on PVOD. The Holdovers premieres on BookMyShow Stream on 29th March, on a one-time rent basis.
The Holdovers is written by David Hemingson, and directed by Alexander Payne. Set in the winter of 1970-71, the story follows a strict classics teacher at a New England boarding school who is forced to chaperone a handful of students who have nowhere to go on Christmas break. Paul Giamatti plays the teacher, Dominic Sessa plays one of the students who stays back on campus, while Da’Vine Joy Randolph plays the manager of the school cafeteria.
While Dominic Sassa has impressed one and all with his vulnerable student character, it is Da’Vine Joy Randolph as Mary Lamb, cafeteria manager and bereaved mother, who has walked away with all the awards for Best Supporting Actress this awards season. She is tipped to repeat the achievement at the Oscars 2024 too.
The Holdovers is a not-to-be-missed movie, and it’ll be available for film lovers to rent on BookMyShow Stream from 29th March, 2024.
