Academy-award-winning British actress Tilda Swinton is known for her visceral portrayal of uncanny character. Some of her most famous projects include ‘We Need To Talk About Kevin’, ‘Suspiria’, ‘Constantine’, ‘Michael Clayton’, and more. She is also renowned for playing the Ancient One in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Her upcoming filmography includes ‘The End †’, an apocalyptic musical by Joshua Oppenheimer, ‘The Room Next Door’, and an untitled project by Thai filmmaker Apichatpong Weerasethakul. In continuation of that list, is now, a new addition.
Swinton has officially joined Golden Globe-winning Irish actor Colin Farrell for Academy award-winning German director Edward Berger’s upcoming film. ‘The Ballad of a Small Player’ follows the tale of a high-stakes gambler who decides to lay low after his past and debts catch up with him. Along the way, however, he encounters a kindred spirit who might just be the key to his salvation.
The production of the film is due to start in Asia sometime later this summer. Her co-star Farrell has the anticipated Batman Max series ‘The Penguin’ bowing in which he reprises his role as Gotham City’s most infamous gangster. He is also currently filming the drama ‘A Big Bold Beautiful Journey’ opposite Margot Robbie.
