The much-awaited nominations for the 96th annual Academy Awards are out now. The Oscars 2024 nominations were announced by actors Zazie Beetz and Jack Quaid at the Samuel Goldwyn Theater. The winners of Oscars 2024 will be announced live on 10th March at the Dolby Theatre at Ovation Hollywood in Los Angeles.
As expected, Oppenheimer swept the nominations at the Oscars, winning noms for Best Film, Best Actor, Best Director, Best Adapted Screenplay, along with Supporting Actor, Supporting Actress, Production Design, and more. Oppenheimer has a total of 13 nominations. Poor Things is next with 11 nominations, Killers Of The Flower Moon with 10 nominations, including Best Director for Martin Scorsese, followed by Barbie with 8 noms.
In a proud moment for India and Indians, made in India documentary ‘To Kill A Tiger’ made it to the nominees for Best Documentary Feature. Indian documentaries have been winning awards galore in recent times, including Writing With Fire and All That Breathes.
