The Telugu film industry is waiting for the release of Bhala Thandanana. The film directed by Chaitanya Dantuluri is ready to release tomorrow but the streaming rights have already been sold.
Streaming giant Disney+Hotstar has bagged the digital rights of the film and that is where it’ll release.
Baanam and Basanti fame director brings an action thriller this time having Sree Vishnu and Catherine Tresa in the lead role. Apart from them, Ramchandra Raju and Posani Krishna Murali will also be seen in important roles.
This is not a big-budget film but Disney+Hotstar is certainly playing aggressively in the market. Yesterday itself the news of them buying the streaming rights of “Vikram” broke. When they manage to purchase such high buzz films and seeing their subscriber base, they kinda ensure a humongous success which is unimaginable for any other platform.
But even films like this get benefitted as people normally binge-watch a new title when there is a lack of any other option.
But whatever the case may be, Bhala Thandanana may follow the standard 4-week rule in which a film releases on OTT after 4 weeks of its theatrical release.
