This week on OTT is all about biggies. In India, we have Panchayat Season 4, then on a global scale, we have The Bear and Squid Game. This is going to be a damn interesting week for the audiences and let’s see what all happens.
Panchayat Season 4
Phulera is back in the spotlight as Abhishek Tripathi returns just in time for an all-out election war between Manju Devi and Kranti Devi. What used to be a quiet village turns into a full-blown political circus, with campaign songs, promises flying left and right, and plenty of shady tactics. Abhishek tries to play it safe, but the pressure keeps closing in. The new season drops June 24 on Prime Video.
The Bear Season 4
Carmy, Sydney and Richie have just 60 days to save their restaurant, and the stress is showing. Between scathing reviews, personal baggage and the constant push to be perfect, it’s chaos in and out of the kitchen. The drama is sharper than ever, and the characters are hanging on by a thread. All ten episodes arrive June 26 on JioHotstar.
Mistry
Former Mumbai detective Armaan Mistry has a brain like a trap and a compulsive need for order, both of which come in handy when solving the city’s most baffling crimes. Ram Kapoor leads the show with Mona Singh as a no-nonsense ACP trying to keep things grounded. It’s witty, layered and full of charm. The show begins streaming June 27 on JioHotstar.
Raid 2
Ajay Devgn returns as IRS officer Amay Patnaik, this time posted in Rajasthan, where he sets out to dismantle a massive black money empire run by a powerful politician played by Ritesh Deshmukh. The deeper he digs, the more dangerous it gets, and this time, the threats hit close to home. Raid 2 starts streaming June 27 on Netflix.
Smoke
Based on the Firebug podcast, this gritty crime thriller follows arson investigator Dave Gudsen, played by Taron Egerton, who joins forces with Jurnee Smollett’s detective to hunt down a pair of serial arsonists. But the closer they get, the more blurred the line becomes between enemies and allies. It’s intense, character-driven and full of slow-burn suspense. Streaming begins June 27 on AppleTV+.
Squid Game Season 3
Gi-hun is back in the games, this time with a mission to take down the twisted organisation from within. As the Front Man unleashes even more brutal rounds and alliances begin to crack, the final season raises the stakes like never before. It’s emotional, violent, and full of surprises. The last chapter begins on June 27 on Netflix.
Head Over Heels
Park Seong-ah is a high school student with a secret: she moonlights as a shaman who can glimpse the future. When her crush suddenly shows up in one of her visions walking upside-down, a clear omen of death, she launches into a desperate mission to change his fate. It’s sweet, spooky and full of K-drama heart. Head Over Heels premieres June 23 on Prime Video.
