Samantha’s maiden OTT project, SamJam, a celebrity talk show she hosted could not strike a chord with the larger section of the audience. The Aha original show garnered a rather timid response and the makers opted not to revive the show for the second season, which pretty much sums up that the show didn’t meet the expectations. Samantha later took some time for her second OTT project, The Family 2, and she scored a smashing success with the same. But the failure of SamJam will remain to be a black mark in her portfolio. Now, Tollywood veteran Nandamuri Balakrishna is striking gold in the avenue which Samantha failed to explore successfully.
Balakrishna’s latest talk show Unstoppable is streaming on Aha Video and it is already a bigger hit than SamJam, at least as far as social media response and interest-building fact go. Balakrishna is nailing it with his spontaneity and trademark peculiarty. The way he is presenting himself, his candid conversations with the guests, and more importantly the no-nonsense nature have evidently impressed the Telugu OTT audience. Unstoppable is already being touted to be Aha’s first real super hit original show.
After a good start with the opening episode that had Mohan Babu on the guest seat, Unstoppable is gaining momentum and the newly episode featuring Nani has also impressed the vast majority of the viewers. Next in line is Vijay Deverakonda. This will be one of the premium episodes of the show and the coming together of two dynamic personalities Balakrishna and Vijay Deverakonda is expected to work in favour of the show. Well, Balakrishna really is showing how it is done.
