Sai Pallavi is known to be a natural actress and she had further upped the ante for Netflix’s upcoming Anthology, Paava Kadhaigal. The actress will be seen as a girl who marries a person of another caste against his father’s wish. She was seen as a pregnant lady in the movie. The actress in an interview revealed that she did not get the script before the shoot.
“Vetri Sir only narrated the one-liner. I kept pestering him for the script but he did not give it. Only during the shoot, I understood what is expected of me and so, my performance in the film is an organic response on the shooting spot, to the script and my character,” the actress said. Prakash Raj plays Sai Pallavi’s father in the film.
“My performance in the movie is just about raw emotion. I watched the film again two days back and I could not stop feeling nauseous and disturbed. Vetri Sir has created a realistic environment in this film and it will have a lingering effect,” she added. Paava Kadhaigal is all set for its premiere on December 18th. The other stories in the anthology were directed by Sudha Kongara, Gautham Vasudev Menon, and Vignesh Shivan.
