Prime Video has just dropped the trailer for the much-awaited Panchayat Season 2. The almost 3-minute long Panchayat trailer gives us ample glimpse of the antics that take place this season in the tiny town of Phulera. The new season of Panchayat premieres on Prime Video on May 20.
Panchayat Season 2 is one of the most keenly awaited shows on Prime Video. And going by the trailer, fans have a lot to look forward to in the new season of Panchayat. Most significantly, the politics at play in the small town is poised to cause chaos in the lives of our beloved Abhishek Tripathi (Jitendra Kumar), Pradhanji (Neena Gupta) Pradhan Pati (Raghubir Yadav) and Vikas (Chandan Roy).
The new season of Panchayat sees the entry of new characters and new headaches for Pradhanji and gang. A stubborn villager and his equally unrelenting wife demand better roads for Phulera. Funds are a problem, and the Panchayat has to invent ingenious ideas to get the required monies.
The Panchayat Season 2 trailer gives a lot more screentime to Pinky, the Pradhan couple’s daughter. There seems to be a romantic angle brewing between her and Abhishek Tripathi. Meanwhile, our dear protagonist continues to be troubled by the fact that his friends are earning fat packages while he is struggling with small town issues.
