Newton: Pankaj Tripathi received a special mention at 65th National Awards for his performance in India’s official entry for the 90th Academy Awards. Mirzapur: Even though the critics didn’t like the web series much due to its inconsistent script and choppy direction, the viewers loved it and one of the primary reasons is Akhandanand Tripathi a.k.a. Kaleen Bhaiya. Pankaj Tripathi hit the right chords with the role, for which the critics also couldn’t resist highlighting his performance. It’s a Prime Video original.
Stree: An unusual character of a paranologist and yet he managed to excel at it. He was nominated for the Best Supporting Actor category at the Filmfare Awards 2018 and won in the same category in other award shows. The film wasn’t received well by the critics but was a sleeper hit at the box office. It can be watched on both Netflix and Disney+ Hotstar.
He has delivered a plethora of brilliant performances, however, these five are some of his best till date.
