Lionsgate Play has announced a new web series that will be premiering on the platform soon. The show has been titled ‘Paris Has Fallen’ and it will be a thriller series.
Tewfik Jallab and Ritu Arya play leading roles in the show. The first poster has been revealed and it features the two lead actors with guns in their hands standing in position in front of the Eiffel Tower while there are explosions around everywhere.
The show is produced by Urban Myth Films and it comes from the popular ‘Has Fallen’ series of films. Antoine Fuqua’s film ‘Olympus Has Fallen’ was the first to come out in the series and it released in 2013. ‘London Has Fallen’ was directed by Babak Najafi and released in 2016. The third film, ‘Angel Has Fallen’ by Ric Roman Waugh had a 2019 release.
The show is written by Howard Overman and it will be more or less eight hours long. ‘Paris Has Fallen’ will be the story of Vincent Taleb, a member of a security agency protecting France’s Defence Minister from potential threats. He is helped by Zara Taylor, an MI6 agent. The two find out that the conspiracy of killing the Defence Minister is more sinister than they think and there are other lives at a stake.
