This is determined by the number of pageviews these titles are generating on IMDb. Each title is then ranked by IMDb as per the aggregate number of pageviews.
As far as today’s Indian films and series are concerned, the most anticipated title on IMDb is the fourth instalment of the YRF spy universe – ‘Pathaan’. Helmed by Siddharth Anand, the action thriller movie features superstar Shah Rukh Khan in the titular role of a daredevil RAW agent and co-stars John Abraham and Deepika Padukone.
And surprisingly, the second buzziest Indian title on IMDb as of now is Girideva Raaj’s psychological horror thriller movie ‘The Y’. The film’s basic story follows a woman who begins to experience some strange happenings after she receives a mysterious package. Now, it’s up to the husband to unearth the terrifying mystery.
And the third most anticipated Indian title on IMDb has been bagged by the upcoming drama movie ‘Varisu’ starring Vijay and Rashmika Mandanna in the lead roles. The film’s story is about a happy-go-lucky man whose life takes a drastic turn after his foster father suddenly dies.
Besides theatrical releases, three Indian OTT titles have also made it to the IMDb list. And they are Disney+ Hotstar’s action-comedy web series ‘Taaza Khabar’ with the popular Youtuber Bhuvan Bam in the lead role, Sidharth Malhotra starrer spy thriller Netflix movie ‘Mission Majnu’, and the Punjabi rom-com ‘Babe Bhangra Paunde Ne’ starring Diljit Dosanjh and Sargun Mehta.
