Being the only thing that will be carried over to the new DCU, Peacemaker is the one show everyone is looking forward to. The show had insanely positive reception from the audience, which was kind of going through a saturation of the whitewashed superhero media. The crass nature of peacemakers was something that captivated the audience.
The second season was under speculation. A month ago, a mysterious figure was revealed by James Gunn. And while we still have no clarity as to who this character might be, we do get some hint that the show will take ideas from the Native American side of the DC universe.
Up until now, we didn’t really have much confirmation as to when we will get to have our hands on the series, but now we have a revelation from the studio that the second season of Peacemaker is set to release in August 2025. The series will be next in line after James Gunn’s Superman, starring James Corenswet.
The universe itself will kick off soon next month with the creature commandos. The past few years have worked wonders for the character. Peacemaker had its first appearance in the suicide squad, followed by its own series and an anime. Suicide Squad: Isekai also was very well received. Not just that, the peacemaker also got himself a guest appearance in Mortal Kombat 1.
