The first teaser for ‘LSD: Love Sex Aur Dhoka 2’ has been released. Very recently Dibakar Banerjee had released a disclaimer video about the film saying that while it will take a stark look at today’s generation, unfortunately, to keep the authenticity of the film intact, some shots might shock and revolt audiences. The film depicts the present generation and tells a terrifying story that might be quite difficult to accept.
The teaser is dark, raunchy and disturbing to its very core. It shows a very multilayered storytelling that has been taken to a different level altogether and the teaser promises that the second film might be more ‘problematic’ and revolting than the first one. The first installment ‘Love Sex Aur Dhoka’ came out in 2010 and was the story of love and betrayal in the world of hidden cameras. ‘LSD 2’, being true to its age, will be a story told through internet snippets. The teaser shows clips from 24-hour reality shows, YouTube videos, live-streams and other posts.
The movie will have appearances of people like Anu Malik, Swastika Mukherjee, Oorfi Zaved, Mouni Roy and various other actors. In the world of TRP driven shows and in the negative impact that they have on the gen-z audiences, the stories of LSD 2 will be like a modern horror from the maestro. LSD launched Rajkumar Rao and shot him to fame. LSD 2 features some new promising faces and their performances look quite convincing in the teaser.
The movie is a joint production of Dibakar Banerjee Films and Ektaa Kapoor’s Balaji Motion Films. The movie is coming out on the 19th of April.
