AR Rahman is easily one of the greatest figures ever in Indian cinema. Even after 30 years of his magical presence in the film industry, people crave his music. The reason is obvious, listen to albums like Roja, Bombay, Dil Se…, Alai Payuthe, and more to understand how incredible of a talent he holds.
But, sadly, his name is being defamed into something for which he is a little to “not” responsible at all.
Yesterday was a concert by AR Rahman in Chennai. Of course, he is AR Rahman and will act like a magnet to music lovers. Due to poor mismanagement, a lot of people were stuck in heavy traffic. When they finally reached the venue, they were allegedly denied entry. There are also allegations of assault and a lot of other terrible things.
But we must understand that it is the fault of the organizers who failed to give the desired experience to the fans.
Regardless, some people are demanding for a series to be made on this whole mess. After the BookMyShow Cricket Ticket scam, the next idea is that of this concert.
This is a win-win situation for SonyLIV and Hansal Mehta whose impact on the audience is great enough that they are connecting such events to the Scam series. Also, there are demands for documentaries from Netflix India on the same.
