Logan Lerman rose to prominence after starring as the titular character in Percy Jackson films. Yes, those films have received their fair share of criticism. But there’s no denying that Lerman’s take on the fictional protagonist was one of the brightest points in those films. And he has not ruled out the odds of returning to the franchise via the Percy Jackson and the Olympians Disney+ series. Disney renewed the series for Season 2 last month.
In a recent interview with Access Online, Lerman talked about returning to the Percy Jackson Disney+ series. The actor has yet to watch the show, but he is impressed with what he has read about the show so far. In addition, he did not rule out the possibility of appearing in the next season in some capacity.
“I mean, maybe. I’m open to things,” Lerman said.
Logan Lerman will not be playing Percy Jackson in the second season of the Disney+ series (if he officially becomes a part of the show), as we have Walker Scobell for the job. However, The Perks of Being a Wallflower fame could return to the franchise by getting a chance to play another character. All he needs is a popular character from Rick Riordan’s Percy Jackson novels and a solid character arc. Lerman’s popularity among the franchise’s fans is still intact, and they would love to see him return to the franchise sometime in the future.
