The trailer of Netflix India’s Phir Aayi Hasseen Dillruba is here and it forces us to ask a few questions from ourselves before we begin to analyse it.
What do you expect from pulp fiction? More importantly, what do you want from pulp fiction?
This genre of entertainment has a long history of highly sensational stories where intense passionate love is ignited by steamy sex and washed by blood.
Hasseen Dillruba was a highly successful film because the makers provided an excellent dose of entertainment through witty dialogues and a highly entertaining story.
Other than a dialogue part, Phir Aayi Hasseen Dillruba takes the bar even higher. It is a direct sequel to the 2021 film and the story is far more intense, steamy and bloody this time.
The movie stars Taapsee Pannu along with Vikrant Massey but adds Sunny Kaushal and Jimmy Shergill as new entries. These new entries, especially Jimmy Shergill, are highly tempting. They have their own dangerous agendas and it is sure to disrupt the story of Rishu and Rani.
More importantly, Rishu is not the same docile boy but has transformed into a crocodile like beast.
The movie is set to be released on the 9th of August and let’s see what magic it creates. So far, it looks excellent.
