Poacher has gotten a more than great start at Prime Video. Remember the Day 1 of the Indian Police Force. It was filled with a filth of bad reviews and they rightly deserved so.
Coming to Poacher, the series is exceptionally well made and it stands neck to neck with one of the finest shows ever made in India, like Jubilee, Scoop and more.
Poacher has been a really ambitious project, just that the promotions were not to the point. But, as we said, everything depends on word of mouth. The reviews have been excellent.
It might have been a confident strategy that Prime Video used to create a more strong buzz. Thankfully, it seems to be working.

Look at this ad above. It is indeed a really creative post that captures the very essence of the show. Poacher is essentially about our lack of acknowledgement of the killings of elephants and it is an issue that is worth addressing.
Poacher stands out as a dark thriller that will find it hard to reap a lot of views, owing to the dark nature of the show.
Regardless, things are going well and it looks like Poacher will have to work hard in convincing people to watch the show. Let’s see how it goes.
