Emilia Clarke will now be seen in a new thriller series. The series is titled ‘Ponies’ and it is created by David Iserson and Susanna Fogel.
Susanna Fogel will direct the show and David Iserson will show-run it. Alison Mo Massey and Jessica Rhoades are attached to it along with Emilia Clarke herself for executive producing it. ‘Ponies’ will be a Peacock original.
The show is based in Moscow of the 1970s where two young women are recruited in the American Embassy but they originally are secret service agents. Their husband’s suddenly die in the USSR and the two girls are determined to find out what happened to them. One of them is highly educated and the other rural but brave. In search of the reason for their husbands’ death, the two find out some mysteries of the Cold War.
Emilia Clarke has gathered huge praise for playing the role of Daenerys Targaryen in Game Of Thrones, which is without any doubt one of the biggest shows ever made. And very recently she starred in the Amazon Prime series ‘Criminals’. Now fans are excited to see her as a spy in ‘Ponies’.
