Popular 85% Rated Series Back On Prime Video India!
Fans of vampire dramas will be delighted to know that one of the most popular fantasy vampire series is back on streaming. We’re talking about ‘The Originals’, the vampire series that has been missing from Indian OTT platforms for some time now. Well, not any more, coz ‘The Originals’ is now streaming on Prime Video India – all five seasons of it.
Highly-rated vampire series ‘The Originals’ is the spinoff of another popular series, ‘The Vampire Diaries’. It had earlier been available to stream on both Netflix India and Prime Video India, but had left both streaming platforms last year. Luckily, for fans of the show, ‘The Originals’ is now back on Prime Video India.
The Originals started off life as a broadcast series on American TV network, The CW. The series is set in the world of The Vampire Diaries, and features many characters from the parent series. The story follows the werewolf – vampire hybrid Mikaelson siblings, Klaus, Elijah, and Rebekah, as they fight to regain control of New Orleans, the city they built decades ago, meeting old buddies and confronting new foes in the process.
Interestingly, the Mikaelson family are known as “The Originals” due to the fact that they are the first vampires ever to exist. The series stars Joseph Morgan as Klaus Mikaelson, Daniel Gillies as Elijah Mikaelson, Claire Holt as Rebekah Mikaelson, Phoebe Tonkin as Hayley Marshall, Charles Michael Davis as vampire Marcel Gerard, among others.
The official synopsis of ‘The Originals’ reads – “A family of power-hungry thousand-year-old vampires look to take back the city that they built and dominate all those who have done them wrong”.
