Bollywood diva Sushmita Sen suffered a massive heart attack back in late February, 2023. The unexpected health complications brought Sushmita Sen’s work commitments grinding to a halt.
But the fighter that she is, Sushmita Sen obviously wouldn’t let a puny heart attack knock her out, would she? The feisty actress returned to working out barely a week after getting an angioplasty procedure done. And now, just a month and a half later, Sushmita Sen has resumed work on her prestigious Disney Plus Hotstar web series, ‘Aarya 3‘.
Disney Plus Hotstar posted a short teaser type video on its social media handles, informing Sushmita Sen fans and those of ‘Aarya’, that shoot on the new Aarya Season 3 has resumed after the unlikely and unexpected break.
The video showcases Sushmita Sen, first with one sword, and then with a sword in both hands, as she twirls them around with determined intent – intent to not let the unforseen health complication hold her back as much as intent as the badass Aarya Sareen, to avenge her husband’s murder and keep her children safe from harm.
For those who don’t know, Disney Plus Hotstar series ‘Aarya’ is the story of a woman who will go to any lengths to protect her children and home. When her husband is murdered, she takes over not just the reins of his business and crime empire, but also his enemies. Aarya is an adaptation of Dutch series ‘Penoza’.
Along with Sushmita Sen, Aarya Season 3 will see the return of actors Sikandar Kher, Namit Das, Manish Chaudhari, Vinod Rawat, among others. The series is directed by Ram Madhvani.
