You might be wondering that every other actor is facing the clash after a recent resurgence in announcements of movies. Then why are we specifically dedicating this article towards Prabhas? Well just for the fact that post Baahubali, Prabhas has become *THE* most bankable star of India. And the amount of fans Prabhas has garnered all over India might not be comparable at the moment. Every release of Prabhas is being eyed with utmost importance and excitement.
Coming back to the topic, with a flurry of announcements made from Bollywood over the past fortnight suggests the fact that, the Industry is all set to move on from the lackluster 2020 and all the actors have resumed their shooting schedules. There have been plenty of announcements from all over India, which includes the upcoming movies of Prabhas – Radhe Shyam & Salaar.
But the fans were left disappointed when they got to know that both the movies will be facing direct clash from Bollywood. Radhe Shyam which has set it’s release date for 30th July 2021 will be locking horns with Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Gangubai Kathiawadi’ which is slated to arrive on the same date. Now this clash is being considered as a big one because of the names involved within both the movies.
‘Gangubai Kathiawadi‘ stars Alia Bhatt which is her first outing with the visionary and celebrated director – SLB. Bhansali who is on a hot streak of money spinners in theatres, will probably be eyeing to create the similar magic as his previous movies. Considering the fact that Bhansali too, enjoys a huge following in North India due to his work and Prabhas also has created a significant amount of presence in people’s heart, how the clash will turn out for box office.
Another clash for 2022 has already been set up for Prabhas. Salaar, the much awaited combo of Prashanth Neel and Prabhas has finally taken shape and will be competing with Varun Dhawan and Kriti Sanon starrer Bhediya. While Salaar might have a edge out in this clash due to its genre (Action thriller) Bhediya will be trying to showcase something new in the industry. With the changing taste of the audience, who are preferring new and innovative content from the makers, Bhediya might actually find out a good amount of audience. Both the movies are currently in production and will be arriving on April 14th 2022.
It will be interesting too see that if the makers of opposite movies are genuinely confident about their content and that’s the reason why they are choosing to clash. Or are they just doing that to grab the attention of the audience who already are hyping about all the Prabhas starrers.
