Good news for Prabhas fans. The superstar has announced a new and ambitious project. The movie will be directed by filmmaker Hanu Raghavapudi. The makers posted a photo of the director with the cast and announced that the shooting has begun.
The title of the movie has not been revealed yet but it is rumoured to be ‘Fauji’. It will be a big budget action drama and it is said to be based on Indian history. It will be great to have Prabhas in a historical drama so long after ‘Baahubali’. His ‘Kalki’ has impressed audiences all over the country and he will star in the much anticipated next part as well. Prabhas’ other attempts failed to make an impact at the box office. Films like ‘Radhe Shyam’ and ‘Saaho’ were disasters. ‘Salaar’ was a good comeback and with Kalki everything has changed now. Prabhas is back to form now and fans expect a massive blockbuster from him again.
The upcoming movie will have dancer turned actor Imanvi as the female lead opposite Prabhas. It will also have Mithun Chakroborty and Jaya Prada in important roles. With Mithun and Jaya Prada there will be a pan-Indian appeal to the movie. Other actors will be announced later on.
The film comes from Telugu production house Mythri Movie Makers who are responsible for many big hits like ‘Pushpa’, ‘Gang Leader’, ‘Dead Comrade’ and more. The makers described the movie as “The DAWN of an Epic Saga Of War, Justice and Beyond.”
