‘Jawan’ has been released and it is being received with much love from audiences throughout India. The movie has grossed almost 129 crores at the global box office. But despite such a massive opening, Prabhas fans seem to be quite malicious. The movie could not cross the record of Adipurush’s first day collection which was almost 140 crores globally.
This rivalry between fans of Prabhas and Shahrukh Khan goes beyond this. At the time of Adipurush release, ‘Ra-One’ trended on Twitter amidst the VFX controversy. During Pathaan release too, we could see similar activities from Prabhas fans.
However, Adipurush still remains as the highest grosser on the first day of release. But the fans do not consider the overall business of the movie. Adipurush was a disaster and it was denounced by audiences and critics alike. While Jawan opens to a highly warmer welcome. Even Pathaan did a greater business at the box office than Adipurush, still Prabhas fans try to assert his superstardom with futile arguments.
Twitter is being flooded with tweets comparing the two movies whereas there cannot be any comparison between the movies. Adipurush is a matter of rejoice only to Prabhas fans and it failed to have a global appeal. Jawan is accepted with love and people expect it to be the highest grosser of the year. Failing to cross first day collection does not matter at all. Jawan will be superior to Adipurush and Shahrukh Khan too will be a bigger star than Prabhas, even if Prabhas fans try to assert the opposite.
