The upcoming movie of Bahubali Star Prabhas and Pooja Hedge Radhe Shyam has decreased its run time to 138 minutes. The film was shortened voluntarily by the filmmakers. The Central board of film certification(CBFC) had given the film a U/A clean certificate and the film had 150 minutes. According to Bollywoodhungama.com the film makers decided to trim and add some sequences in the movie last week.
In the list of voluntary modifications submitted to the CBFC the 56 modifications have been carried out. In 56 modifications 49 were made by the filmmakers. There are some scenes added in a few seconds and 2 to 5 minutes. And a couple of sequences with 5 seconds and even 5 minutes have been avoided in the movie. Through these changes 23 minutes of footage and added scenes totalling 11 minutes. It makes the runtime of the movie down to 138.
Fans hope these changes won’t affect the movie in a bad way. Also, it will benefit the filmmakers and distributors where they can hold more shows in multiplexes. Similar changes had also been made in the Hindi version of the movie.
‘Radhe Shyam‘ is sci-fi thriller movie directed by Radha Krishna Kumar, tells a story about a palmist which is set in the 1970s. This movie is the first movie of Prabhas after Saaho and one of the most anticipated movies of the year. The star had become a pan Indian actor after the phenomenal Bahubali.
