Fans are super excited for the release of ‘Adipurush‘ featuring Prabhas, Kriti Sanon and Saif Ali Khan in the lead, that it has been trending all day! The Om Raut directed magnum opus based on the ‘Ramayana’, is being jointly produced by T-Series Films and Retrophiles. ‘Adipurush’ releases exactly after a year on this day, 11th August 2022 and netizens have already begun the countdown!
The film will see Prabhas in the lead as Lord Rama, Kriti Sanon as Sita and Saif Ali Khan will be essaying the part of Raavan. Apart from them, actor Sunny Singh (of ‘Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety’ fame) will be seen as Lakshman and Devdatta Nage (of ‘Tanhaji’ fame) as Hanuman. The movie is being simultaneously shot in both Telugu and Hindi on a massive scale and budget of a whopping 500 crores, so we can definitely expect some grand locales, extravagant costumes and massive sets! ‘Adipurush’ will also release in Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam. Apparently, all precautions are being taken to avoid hurting the sentiments of people with the script of the film.
The makers had shared the initial poster of the film in November last year announcing the release date, post which another update followed in February earlier this year to announce that filming had commenced. On March 12th, actor Prabhas took to social media to welcome the lead heroine, Kriti Sanon and actor Sunny Singh on board the project.
Reportedly, some scenes with lead actress Kriti Sanon and Saif Ali Khan have already been shot since the team want to unveil their look for the film soon. So we can expect their First Look posters out very soon! Excited about working with Prabhas for the first time, Kriti said, “It’s a really fresh pairing and it is looking really nice is what I can tell you. He is a humble person, very chilled and easy to work with. I missed him in the last schedule. I was shooting with Saif. In the next schedule, in August I am going to see him soon.”
On the work front, the actress, currently basking in the success of ‘Mimi’, has completed shooting for ‘Hum Do Humaare Do’ and ‘Bhediya’ and is currently also shooting for Sajid Nadiadwala’s ‘Bachchan Pandey’ alongside Akshay Kumar and Jacqueline Fernandez. Meanwhile, Saif Ali Khan is gearing up for the release of ‘Bhoot Police’ with Arjun Kapoor, Jacqueline Fernandez, Yami Gautam and also has Aditya Chopra’s ‘Bunty Air Babli 2’ alongside Rani Mukerji. As for Prabhas, he has already wrapped up the shoot of ‘Radhe Shyam’ and is expected to join the sets of ‘Adipurush’ anytime now. It is possible that the makers will initially begin working on his First Look shot so that all the posters of the lead cast can be simultaneously unveiled. The ‘Bahubali’ actor is currently busy with the shoot of ‘Salaar’ opposite Shruti Haasan, besides which he also has director Nag Ashwin’s next alongside Amitabh Bachchan and Deepika Padukone in the pipeline.
